Pyla Village<November 23, 2005Where
The village of Pyla is situated on the southern
and eastern part of Cyprus. It's main body
is approximately 15km from Larnaca towards
the east. Encircled on three sides by hills
and elevated somewhat from the sea level,
it faces the Mediterranean sea, giving it
a spectacular view of the bay of Larnaca
and the whole coastal line that begins from
Larnaca towards the west and stretching to
Cape Pyla in the east. The greater area of
Pyla village stretches from the southern
coast to the hills overlooking it to the
north and beyond. It is for the moment within the so called "green line" (no man's
demilitarized area). {map} Interesting Links ___________________________
